Margaret E. (Durbin) Riemenschneider

Margaret Riemenschneider, 90, passed away February, 5, 2017.  Margaret was born June 13, 1926 in Akron to the late Archabald and Hazel Durbin.  She was retired from Akron City Hospital, where she worked for 27 years.  While living in North Carolina she, along with her husband, enjoyed volunteering at the homeless shelter.  She loved animals and provided loving care and a warm lap to numerous dogs during her lifetime.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Bob; her daughter, Hazel “Bunny” Riemenschneider; and sister, Anna Beaver.  She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Cherry, Debbie (Bill) Baker, and Charlean (Bob) Brunski; 4 grandchildren, Lance Brosch, Mark (Stephanie) Brosch, Lisa (Pete) Duhamel, and Ross (Heather) Baker; 6 great-grandchildren, Braxton Brosch, Madison Brosch, Emma and Ethan Duhamel, Logan and Grayson Baker.

Her daughters would like to thank Leda Zamilski for sharing her time and love with our mother. 

A Memorial Service will be held at 4 P.M. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
