William "Billy" A. Caughron, Jr.

Bill Caughron, Jr., 50, passed away on March 21, 2022. He was born on May 21, 1971, in Akron to Peggy and the late Bill Caughron, Sr. 

Bill is a graduate of Green High School class of 1989 and formerly employed by AT&T.  He loved to have fun and make people laugh.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, grilling, Nascar, was an Ohio State and Steelers fan, and loved going to Vegas with his Dad.  He loved hanging out with his friends at the Sportsman Club or just hanging out in his garage with his neighbors. Though he had a tough exterior, Bill was a Momma’s-boy and took pride in taking care of his family. 

Bill is survived by his son, Zachary (Macie Castner) Caughron; grandsons, Carsen and Coast Caughron; sisters, Denisa (Rick Manley) Caughron and Leighann (Richard) Wilson; niece, Tiffany (Zack) Ling; nephews, Matthew Manley and Tyler (Casey) Wilson; as well as many friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Hanover Healthcare Center and Crossroads Hospice for the care they gave to Bill. 

Funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. on Thursday, March 24, 2022, at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E.
