Vasile "Ita" Teodosiu

Our beloved Vasile “Ita” Teodosiu, 58, went home to be with the Lord on December 14, 2020 unexpectedly.  Ita was born in Baia de Aries, Romania on July 5, 1962 to the late Petru and Varvoara Teodosiu.  Ita worked at Enprotech in Cleveland for 28 years. He enjoyed gardening, apiculture, and cooking traditional Romanian cuisine. Ita loved his whole family dearly, and he was always generous to share with his loved ones and his neighbors around him.

Ita was preceded in death by his brothers, Sabin and Iosif (Lidia). He is survived by his siblings Lidia (Vasile) Nicoara, Benjamin (Lydia) Teodosiu, Ioan (Ligia) Teodosiu, David (Dana) Teodosiu, Maria (Ruben) Vultur, and sister-in-law Nina Teodosiu. He was loved greatly and will be missed deeply by his siblings, nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 (SR 619), with Pastor Valentin Tent officiating. Family and friends may call Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, with a wake service taking place at 6 P.M. Interment will be at East Liberty Cemetery. Social distancing and health protocol (i.e. wearing of face covering, staying 6 feet apart, no handshakes or hugs) will be followed while at the funeral home.  If you are sick or do not wish to attend, we understand, and all love and prayers will be accepted by visiting our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
