Timothy R. Henley

Timothy Henley, 26, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2021. He was born August 1, 1995 in Akron to Thomas and Debra (Maynard) Henley. Timothy grew up in Green and was a graduate of Green High School where he played football.  After graduation, Timothy, started working with his “Pops” on various construction jobs.  He was a jack of all trades.

As a child, Timothy loved spending his summers in Canada, fishing and working with his "Pops", going on adventures with his siblings, and stealing his mother’s heart. He was the baby of the family and the smartest and funniest kid you would know. He loved going to the gym, spending time with his nieces and nephews, playing cards with his mom, and being her best friend. Timothy loved his family and friends so deeply. He would do anything for anyone. You could feel his love through a single touch. When Timothy walked in a room, it lit up. If he cracked a joke, everyone laughed. Timothy could boost your mood with just one smile. He was an amazing son, brother, uncle and friend. 

Besides his parents, Tom and Debra, Timothy is survived by his brother, Thomas Henley, II (Michelle Sumer); sisters, Tana (Ryan) Whitt and Tiffany (Brianna) Henley; nieces, Kaidyn, Ashlynn and Evelynn; nephews, Gavin, Aiden and Haiden; grandpa Richard (Pamela) Henley; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Katherine (Paul) Johnston, Raymond (Carol) Maynard and Rosalie Henley.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. on Thursday, November 11, 2021 at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Church, 1800 Steese Road, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.  Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 4:30 to 7:30 P.M. at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Memorial contributions can be made in Tim’s name to the funeral home or to  the Packard Institute, 461 W Market Street, Akron, Ohio 44303.
