Theodore Kavadas, 77, passed away January 5, 2022. He was born July 8, 1944 in Cleveland to the late Peter and Angela Kavadas. After graduating from culinary arts school in Boston, Teddy returned to the area and became the owner/operator of Teddy’s Pizza. Then in 1989 Theo’s Bar & Grill.
Teddy was a life-long Browns fan! He enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing cards with the guys. But the most important thing to him were his daughters and his family. He was truly a friend to hundreds, a stranger to no one, and had an infectious, fun and loving personality. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Besides his parents, Theodore was preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Kouzelos; grandchildren, Julian Kavadas and Karina Bealer. He is survived by his loving daughters, Nichole (Steve) Bealer, Angela Kavadas, Lisa (John) Chaney and Christina Ulicia; grandchildren, Adron and Nikolas Bealer and Sasha Suarez; great granddaughter, Paislee; nieces, Angel Kouzelos, Katherine (John) Schwien and Gabrielle Kouzelos; nephews, Angelo (Cindie) and Michael (Stacey) Kouzelos; as well as countless friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at the Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 129 South Union Street, Akron, Ohio 44304. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 3 to 7 P.M. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
