Rosalie A. (Jackson) Henley, RN, BSN

Rosalie Henley, 84, passed away on June 9, 2018.  She was born on April 16, 1934, in Terra Alta, West Virginia. 

She was a 1975 graduate of the Akron School of Practical Nursing and a 1990 graduate of Kent State University’s School of Nursing.  She retired from Barberton Citizens Hospital after 24 years of service.

Rosalie is survived by her children, Diane (Bob) Quesenberry, Denise (Denny) Lough, Thomas (Debra) Henley, Dolores (Ray) Maynard, Donna Klein, Darlene (Pat) Conner, and Dana (Gerald) Crites; 24 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; brothers, Gary Hartman and Tom (Patti) Jackson; and sister, Terry (Phil) Schankenberger.   

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 13, 2018, at St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, 4019 Manchester Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Fr. Jacob Bearer officiating.  Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
