Robert A. Phillips

Bob Phillips, 73, passed away unexpectedly November 27, 2020.  He was born and raised in Massillon to the late William and Geraldine Phillips.  He was a 1965 graduate of Jackson High School, then continued his education to pursue his passion in technology where he made his long, successful career. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends, loved cars, boats, motorcycles and became an instrument rated pilot.  He was always very generous, helping many with his incredible knowledge of everything from computers to finances, from home improvement projects to shopping for cars. The world was a better place because he was here and he will be missed. Bob’s life was a wonderful adventure but most importantly, he did it HIS way.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Sally; children, Deanna Phillips (George Oliver), Barrett (Misty) Phillips and Anissa Phillips (Dennis Menard); step-children, Eric Lind (Heather), Natalie McGee (Steve); 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Tim Phillips (Ana); sister, Patty Payette (Dave); as well as nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
