Richard "Dick" Rider Obituary

Dick Rider, 106, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2022, just 3 weeks shy of his 107th birthday.

Dick was an avid card player, a fantastic handyman, and at the age of 99 bowled a 204 game.

Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Mary. He is survived by his children, Dick of Midlothian, VA, Larry of Akron, and Jan Wagner of Sun City, SC; 6 grandchildren, and 8 grandchildren.

A private family burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Dick’s wish would be a gift on his behalf to Sun City’s Euchre and Cribbage Clubs. To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
