Becky Campbell, 64, passed away unexpectedly at home on November 25, 2021. She was born August 17, 1957 in Akron, Ohio to the late Jack and Kathryn Pickrell. Becky was a 1975 graduate of Green High School. She worked for the University of Akron for 39 years.
Becky's love was so pure and genuine. She always put others before herself, was always willing to lend a listening ear, and would help anyone in need. But her greatest joy in life was her family. She was deeply loved by all who knew her and will be forever missed.
Besides her parents, Becky was preceded in death by brother, William Pickrell. She is survived by son, Robert (Jennifer) Campbell; grandsons, Conrad, and William Campbell; granddaughters, Alyssa (Ryan) and Mykala Campbell; sister, Penny Pickrell; "Bonus Mom," Edie Buck; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Per Becky's wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 6 P.M. on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Jeff Gindlesberger officiating. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
