Phyllis B (Singleton) Stover

Phyllis Stover, 82, passed away on August 24, 2023.  She was born on January 13, 1941, in Floyd County, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Mabel Singleton. 

Phyllis was a woman of many talents, she loved to cook, bake, shop, and play Bingo.  She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and attend their football games and school functions. Phyllis enjoyed traveling to Greensboro, North Carolina to see her son and grandchildren. 

Besides her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband Ted Stover;  4 brothers and 6 sisters,  She is survived by her sons, Mike (Terry) and Mark Stover; daughters, Patty (Steve) Crano and Robin (Russ) Nicewander; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Wilma Bond; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was loved, deeply loved, by all who knew her and will be forever missed.   

A funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.  Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  To leave a special message for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
