Nancy Antulis, 80, went home to be with the Lord on April 30, 2021. She was born April 17, 1941 in Sassafras, Kentucky to the late Charles and Miriam Blankenship.
Nancy was a dedicated and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who took great joy in serving others. She was a true reflection of Christ-like character and lived to share her faith in Jesus with anyone she met. For years she faithfully took care of the day-to-day operations at Firestone Park Automotive for her loving husband Tony. She loved painting scenery and portraits, swimming, gardening, and taking care of family, which includes her dog Bitzi and kitty Miss Ella. Nancy served as a Sunday School teacher for 13 years at Akron Baptist Temple in the preteen department. She used her artistic talents to paint murals on the walls of the children’s departments at ABT. Nancy also served in the nursery at HighPoint Christian Church for many years. She was an outstanding seamstress, making prom, homecoming, and wedding dresses, and enjoyed making flower arrangements. Nancy will be greatly missed by all.
Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Anthony “Tony” Antulis; sons, Robert (Nelly) and James Antulis; daughters, Charlene (Jack) Chandler and Deanna (John) Stahl; grandchildren, David (Michelle), Samantha (Chris), Matthew (Vanessa), Mitchell, Rachel, Chandler, Jacob, Nathan and Becca; 4 great grandchildren; brother, Cliff Blankenship; sisters, Susan Holcomb and Carla (Lenny) Johnson; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at HighPoint Christian Church, 2545 W. Comet Road, Clinton, Ohio 44216 with Pastor John Stahl officiating. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 5, 2021 from 4 to 7 P.M. at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E.
