Molly Kapeluck, 56, gained her angel wings peacefully on February 25, 2022, and was welcomed into heaven by her loving parents, Sonny and Julia Wolf, and her brother Dale Wolf. Molly was a 1983 graduate of East Palestine High School and went on to get her associate degree at Stark State University. She retired from the city of Green as the Clerk of Council in February 2021 after 27 ½ years. Molly was a Master Municipal Clerk and President of the Ohio Municipal Clerks Association. In 2017, she was awarded Clerk of the year.
Molly was a kind, caring, trustworthy, and thoughtful person. Her charismatic personality was one of the many things that so many loved about her. She was a friend you could always count on, and her smile was contagious. Molly was always a willing volunteer to help others. She started the Easter basket challenge for the city of Green employees in 2012 and donated them to Summit County Children Services. She was the decorating chair for Project Ed Bear, an organization that provides needs and comforts for children battling cancer. She loved the beach and planned to spend her retirement at her condo “Mollygans” in Hilton Head Island.
Molly loved spending time crafting and fixing up old furniture. She was a loving and devoted mother to her children, Michael and Sara, and was always her children’s biggest cheerleader. Molly lived for her children and was so very proud of them.
Molly leaves behind to cherish her memories, children, Michael and Sara Kapeluck; sister, Debbie (Ron) Hanolt; brother, Marty (Nancy) Wolf and sister-in-law, Sharon Wolf; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and countless loving friends.
She will be missed by many, and the memories of Molly will last a lifetime. Until we meet again… We love you to the heavenly beach and back!
