Mary L. (Campbell) Plueddemann

Mary Plueddemann, 95, of New Franklin, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on August 11, 2021. She was born on April 13, 1926 in Bentonville, Arkansas to the late Harry and Eva Campbell.

Mary lived a very full life and loved her family deeply. She was proud of all the places she was able to visit in her lifetime and loved to share her stories with everyone. She was a volunteer at Barberton Hospital for 30 years and a faithful member of her beloved church.

Besides her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Plueddemann; daughter, Laura K. (Don) Buck; brother, Floyd (Dee) Campbell; sister, Betty (Everett) Bunch; and grandson, Darryl Scott Plueddemann. She is survived by her son, Darryl (Liz) Plueddemann; grandchildren, Nina Gaut, Brenda (Walt) Laser, Sandra (Jimmy) Linger, Tricia (Victor) Short; great grandchildren, Amanda Hayes, Sarah (Ryan) Buckley, Kristin Gaut (Nick Pierce), Dale Laser, Dora (Daniel) Huff, Tiffany Kerr (James Varner), Alexis Kerr, Austin Gresser, Allysa (Gregory) Davis, Taylor (Trent) Mars; great-great grandchildren, Silvera, Keigan, Ellianna and Brynlee Hayes, Ember and baby Buckley, Landen, Noah and baby Pierce, Elias Huff, Roma Cava, Felicity and Lincoln Davis; as well as many other family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at NOON on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Craig D’Anniballe officiating.  Family and friends may call on Saturday from 11 AM to the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Clinton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Mary’s name to Clinton United Methodist Church, 7949 S.
