Louise Holt Obituary

Louise Holt, 90, passed away on August 23, 2022. She was born in Barberton on December 11, 1931, to the late Dillard and Dorothy Bass and lived her entire life in the area. She was a 1950 graduate of Barberton High School and worked for 30 years for AMHA Housing as a resident manager of the Allen Dickson Apartments. Louise was also an avid oil painter and gave her paintings to family and friends

Besides her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her son, Patrick McCartney; sisters, Delores McCoy, Shirley Harrell, and Ellen Darlak and granddaughters, Sarah and Annie. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, James Holt; sons, Bob (Pat) and Michael McCartney; grandchildren, Halle, Louise, Zachary, Jay, and Samuel; 10 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
