Larry Lee Plaster, Jr.

Larry Plaster Jr., 52, a loving husband, father, brother and son, passed away on April 14, 2021.  He was born June 28, 1968 in Akron to Rita Plaster Cargo (nee Whipkey) and Larry Lee Plaster Sr.  Larry received a Bachelor’s in Business from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1995, where he met and fell in love with Rebecca Burtoft Plaster.  They raised two children, Alexandra and Nathan Plaster.

Larry was a man of intensity; one who loved deeply, cared fiercely, and laughed cheerfully.  He loved classic rock, reading, the Buckeyes and Steelers, and his recliner in his man cave.  He was a master of falling asleep upright and writing typos in texts despite having the largest font.  His heart was in the right place and he loved to talk about his children.  His road was not an easy one, he did his utmost to provide.  He is truly loved.

Larry was preceded in death by his beautiful and amazing wife, Rebecca Plaster.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his children, Alexandra and Nathan; siblings, Rebecca, Justin and Andrew; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  

May God accept him with open arms and may he rest in peace.  

A celebration of life will be held at 11:30 A.M. on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
