Kevin W. Dunn

Kevin Dunn, 67, passed away on July 13, 2023.  He was born on May 29, 1956, in Akron to the late Joseph and Arlene Dunn and he was a 1974 graduate of Manchester High School. Kevin worked at General Tire upon graduation before settling into a career as a machine operator at Americhem, Inc. from which he retired after 30+ years of service. 

Kevin loved the game of baseball and coached youth baseball for most of his adult life.  He started Manchester A’s youth baseball organization and was inducted into the Greater Akron Baseball Hall of Fame in 2000.  He was a lifetime member of the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club and enjoyed riding his motorcycle with his wife, Theresa.  While not at the Sportsman Club or on his motorcycle, Kevin welcomed all to his pool for “Sunday Funday” where laughs were shared, and memories were made for everyone.  Kevin was adept at making all feel loved and will be deeply missed by family, friends, and everyone that knew him.  

Besides his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by brothers, Jeff, Mike, and Chip Dunn, and sister, Debbie Lee.  He is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Theresa (Woodling) Dunn; sons, Randy (Breanna) and Ian (Catie) Dunn; daughters, Brittany (Richard) Huggins and Gabrielle (Mario Kaschner) Dunn; 7 grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
