Keith A. Seaver

Keith Seaver, 54, passed away on September 11, 2023. He was born on December 15, 1968, in Barberton to Ina Seaver and the late Dale Seaver.

Keith worked for AMHA, he enjoyed the people he worked with and loved helping the kids. When he wasn’t at work, he was at Lake Erie searching for sea glass or riding his Harley and living his best life. Keith was known and loved by anyone that was lucky enough to meet him, he made everyone smile. His children and grandbabies were his pride and joy. Anyone could call him anytime they needed something, and he would be there. Keith was an animal lover and cherished his cats, Boots and Fatboi.

Keith was a fixer, advice giver, listener, a do-it-all all type of man. His heart was way too big for this world. This earth is forever changed without him.
 

In true Keith fashion, he left without saying goodbye.  He was “Old skool”, “larger than life”, “Man in Black”, and “do-gooder” who spoke in code, Hingelah-hey. He loved like he lived, simple and fierce. Those who had the privilege to know Keith are “morer the better for it.”  His legacy of love, family, friendship, generosity, patience, grace, quick-witted humor, love of riding, and knowledge of all things mechanical will continue on through all of us.

Besides dad, Keith was preceded in death by his brother, Randy. He is survived by his son, Matt (Brittney McKenna) Seaver; daughter, Tara (Jason) Jenior; grandchildren, Myles, Skyelyn, Koralee and Kolten; mom, Ina Seaver; girlfriend, Dawn Schell and her daughters Alicia and Emily; favorite nephew whom he loved as a son, Dustin Seaver; brother, Duane Seaver (Lori); sister-in-law, Debi Seaver; as well many friends.

A celebration of Keith’s life will take place from 5 to 7 P.M. on Friday, September 22, 2023, at the Main Street Saloon, 1481 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44301 with Pastor Tim Huth to speak at 5:30.
