Judith A. Greenho

Judy Greenho, 84, passed away on May 13, 2022. On April 29, 1938, she was born in Cleveland to the late Alexander and Leona Sinek.  Judy was born and raised in Barberton.  Her life dream was to be a nurse but she loved being a Candy Striper at Barberton Hospital.   She attended Lakeview Christian Church for many decades and considered it her second home. 

Besides her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn, and son, Gary.  She is survived by her daughter, Cindy Holmes; grandchildren, John Homes and Joenitta (James) Flenning; great grandchildren, Ricky (Katie) Holmes, Sr, and Jazmine Holmes; great-great grandchildren, Ricky Jr., Sarah, Levi, and baby Holmes, whom she was anxiously waiting to meet; as well as all of her friends from the Hartville Flea Market and church.

Judy is now a beautiful angel watching over her daughter and grandkids from Heaven.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 20, 2022, at Lakeview Christian Church, 4613 S. Main Street, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Darryl Moulder Officiating.  Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 to 7 P. M. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.  Interment will take place at Uniontown Greenlawn Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in Judy’s name to Lakeview Christian Church.  To leave a special message online for the family and to read more about Judy’s life, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
