John "JB" Brink, II Obituary

John Brink, 57, formerly of Green passed away January 11, 2021 at his home in Richmond, Virginia after a long battle with throat cancer. He was born January 2, 1964 in Akron to John and Sharon (Adams) Brink. John was a 1982 graduate of Green High School where he ran track and was a hurdler and sprinter. John spent four years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea and worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 20 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman and anything outdoors.

Along with his parents, John leaves his son, Andrew (Katie); daughter, Tristen (David); the light of his life, grandsons, Wylder and Waylon; brother, Jeff (Debbie); nephews, Jeff (Shelby) and Josh; 4 great nieces and nephews; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

Per JB’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
