Jennifer Biscan, 47, passed away February 22, 2021 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born October 27, 1973 to Thomas and Patricia Bauer in Cuyahoga Falls, where she attended St. Joseph grade school and was an alumna of Archbishop Hoban High School. She was a highly regarded classmate, a talented athlete, and loved by all who knew her.
Jennifer attended Walsh University where she met the love of her life, Mark Biscan. The two quickly married and started their family. They were blessed with three children and enjoyed doing various activities together such as traveling, attending sporting events, hosting gatherings for family and friends, taking on new projects, and much more. She was an amazing, dedicated mother who taught her children tenacity and kindness. Jennifer was a hardworking mother, as well as professional. She had a successful career with Silver Lake Country Club, Stouffer Realty and Senior Helpers. Jennifer spent the last 14 years as the President of Senior Helpers and touched many lives through her kindness and hard work.
Jennifer is survived by her best friend and loving husband of 26 years, Mark Biscan, their three children, Carlee (Phillip Brett), Abigail and Jacob Biscan; siblings, Kimberly Letson (Christopher), Thomas Bauer, Jr. and Patricia Bauer-Pasadyn (TJ); parents-in-law, George and Marolyn; brother-in Law, Michael (Beth); sister-in law, Christine; 17 nieces and nephews, and best friend Patricia Hardman (Daniel).
Jennifer collected many friends throughout the years. Her sense of humor and ability to light up a room will be cherished and remembered. She treasured the little things in life and always had a plan for adventure. Jennifer impacted the lives of all who knew her and will be dearly missed.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 A.M. on Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Saint Joseph’s Parish, 1761 2nd Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio 442212 with Fr. Jared Orndorff officiating. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 3 to 7 P.M. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 where social distancing and health protocol (i.e. wearing of face covering, staying 6 feet apart, no handshakes or hugs) will be followed.
