Jean A. (Timberlake) Brant

Jean Brant, 77, passed away December 13, 2021.  She was born March 27, 1944 in Akron to the late Simon Floyd and Gwendolyn Timberlake.

Besides her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brant and brother, David Timberlake.  She is survived by her longtime friend and companion, Carey Norris; sons, Derryl Jr. (Pamela) and Doug Hall; grandchildren, Lauren, Emma and Erin; fur-baby, Taffy; countless lifelong friends from the Turkeyfoot Sportsman Club.

Jean had a contagious smile that brightened up a room.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Rob Kasler officiating.  Family and friends may call on Monday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Jean’s name to Cystic Fibrosis, Northern Ohio Chapter, 8001 Sweet Valley Drive, STE 3, Valley View, Ohio 44125-4209.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
