Janet R. (Glover) Rush

Janet Rush, 86, of Green, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born in Somerfield, PA on February 23, 1935 to the late Cyrus and Ida Glover.  

Janet retired from food service at Green Local School District and Chapel Hill Nursing Home. She was an active member of Temple Baptist Church participating in a variety of activities for approximately 30 years. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother. She treasured her family and embraced every moment spent with them. Janet instilled strong family and faith values within her children that have served them well. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

Besides her parents, Janet was preceded in death by her husband Charles and son Paul. She is survived by her son, Craig Rush; daughters, Patty (Jay) Gundy and Karen (Bruce) Gula; daughter-in-law, Joanne Rush; grandchildren, Tami (Tim) Wike, Art (Laurie) Thompson, Bradley Claver, Michelle Gundy, Bethany (James) Huprich, Allison (Josh) Wilson, Melissa (Ryan) Reinford and Michael (Gina) Gula; great-grandchildren, Anthony, Ryan, Jenna, Owen, Kellan, Ashtyn, Gwenn, Brynn, Cael, Parker, Drake, Rhett, Margot and Statham; as well as many other family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 P.M. on Monday, July 19, 2021 and from 9-10 A.M. on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 at Temple Baptist Church, 1212 Greensburg Road, Uniontown, Ohio 44685.  The funeral service will also be held at the church at 10 A.M on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 with Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. Officiating. Interment will take place at Hillside Memorial Park immediately following the service. Memorial contributions can be made in Janet’s name to Temple Baptist Church.
