Geza Imreh, 89, of New Franklin passed away November 29, 2021. He was born Frebruary 25, 1932 in Csikszereda, Transylvania/Szekelyland (currently a region of Romania, before The Hungarian Kingdom and Austria-Hungary) to the late Gabriella Csernay and Alexander Imreh.
Geza was a member of the Hungarian community of the greater Cleveland-Akron area, member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, an Electrical Engineer on paper, a small business owner in real life, a historian by heart, and a heart of gold.
Geza is survived by his son, Robert Imreh, and his two brothers, Julian and Alexander Imreh.
Per Geza’s wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later time in Szekelyland/Transylvania, where he will be placed to rest in peace next to his parents, late Gabriella Csernay and Alexander Imreh.
