Obituary
Emma Rowan, 67, passed away suddenly just a few days before her 68th birthday, after a short illness. She was born September 14, 1955, to the late Paul and Anna Smith. Amy was a 1974 graduate of Coventry High School and married her grade school sweetheart, Mike Rowan in 1980.
Besides her parents, Amy was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Ann Smith and Kathy Lambert, and nephew, Bobby Lambert. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 43 years, Lyle “Mike” Rowan; brother, Paul Smith, Jr.; as well as nieces and many friends.
A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, September 23, 2023, at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Glenn Rogers, Jr. officiating.
