Dora M. (Turner) Beougher

Dora Beougher, 83, passed away on October 11, 2023.  She was born on May 20, 1940, in Clutts, Kentucky to the late Alvin and Clearinda Turner.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, prayer warrior, and friend.  Dora was a longtime member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Green.  She made it her life’s mission to serve her Lord by serving others through baked goods, housekeeping, providing meals, and lots of love and hugs.

Along with her parents, Dora was preceded in death by, her husband, Robert Beougher; brothers, Everett and Melvin Parham; sisters, Faye Stafford, Margaret Rexrode, and Joyce Rake.  She is survived by her son, Alan (Denise) Beougher; daughters, Janelle (Ray) Turner and Robin (Steve) Chappell; grandchildren Michelle (Jesse Tetirick) Wagner, Stephanie (Sean Lewis) Turner, Christa (Ryan) Craycraft, Caitlyn (Marshall) Kirkendall and Nathan (Amy) Turner;  great-grandchildren Keirston and Layton Maybury, Abram Wagner, Declan Tetirick, Zachery Walton, Elijah Lewis, Isaiah and Caden Craycraft, Titan and Kennedy Turner; brothers, Garland and George (Carol) Parham; sister, Pauline Sumey; as well as many nieces, nephews, church family and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6 P.M. on Monday, October 16, 2023, at Gospel Assembly Church, 2535 Wise Road, North Canton, Ohio 44720.  Family and friends may call on Monday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service at the church.  Interment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at 12:15 P.M. on Tuesday, October 17, 2023.  Please arrive at the cemetery at NOON to join the family in the appropriate lane. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Dora’s name to the Gospel Assembly Church, or your favorite charity.  Visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com where you can also leave a special message for the family.
