Donna Brown Obituary

Donna Brown, 82, passed away October 7, 2018. She was born December 17, 1935 in Salem, West Virginia to the late Cecil and Edith Jones. Donna was a long-time member of First E.C. Church where she was a youth leader and sang in the choir. Donna felt her life was Blessed with her loving husband and family. She was always the most positive person and a living testimony of her faith to all who knew her. She was never judgmental and always gracious to others.

Besides her parents, Donna was preceded in death by 2 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, LeRoy Brown; daughters, Debra (Rudy) Rothemund, Linda (Ben) Mercer and Mary (Ron) Bever; 3 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other loving family and friends.

Per Donna’s wishes a memorial service will be held at NOON on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the First E. C. Church, 369 E. Woodsdale Ave, Akron, Ohio 44301 with Rev. Scott Carr officiating. Family and friends may call on Saturday for one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Donna’s name to the church.
