Charles A. Wright

Charles Wright, 93, of Green passed away August 6, 2019 surrounded by his family.  He was born April 25, 1926 in St. Petersburg, Florida to the late Charles and Claudia (nee Witt) Wright.  Charles was a Navy veteran, serving in WWII.  He worked for F.W. Orth and retired from Allied Printing in Kenmore. Charles enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his family and friends.

Besides his parents, Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 70 years, Jean; and brother, Kenny. He is survived by his son, Robert; grandchildren, Charlie (Laura) and Amy; great-grandchildren, Alden, Evelyn, and Gavin; as well other family and friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, August 9, 2019 at the East Liberty Cemetery, 740 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd., Akron, Ohio 44319 with Rev. Jim Gindlesberger officiating.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
