Carol L. (Slawter) Kramer

Carol Kramer, a loving mother, and grandmother passed away on Wednesday, February 22, 2023.  She was born on March 23, 1942, in Canton to the late John O. and Mary Ethel (Muntzing) Slawter and was a life resident of the City of Green.  Carol was a 1960 graduate of Green High School and a member of Greensburg United Methodist Church.  Since the age of 8, Carol was always happy to be singing and was a long-time member of the church choir.  Her passion was her love for Jesus.

Carol was a true blessing to others and led a life of Love, Faith, Courage, and Happiness.  She will be missed and will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Besides her parents, Carol was preceded in death by her loving husband of 35 years, Clarence, and sister, Lois Jean Witsaman.  She is survived by her devoted sons, Todd (Tami) and Brad (Seyla); beloved grandchildren, Tiffany, Ava, and Myla; sister, Mary Lou Williams; brother-in-law, Roy Witsaman; aunt, Arvella Simmons; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A celebration of life service honoring Carol will be held at 2:30 P.M. on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at Greensburg United Methodist Church, 2161 Greensburg Road, North Canton, Ohio 44720.  Family and friends will be received for a visitation on Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319.  A private family interment will take place at Greensburg Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in Carol’s name to Haven of Rest Ministries, P.O.
