Carl Tinkey, Sr.

Carl Tinkey, 60, passed away May 20, 2021.  He was born April 14, 1961 in Akron to the late, Carl and Madeline Tinkey.  Carl was a graduate of Garfield High School and was a truck driver for 15 years. Carl loved spending time with his family, working on cars and going to auctions.

Besides his parents, Carl was preceded in death by grandson, Lorenzo and sisters, Wanda (Michael) Brazile and Linda Tinkey.  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Debra Tinkey; sons, Joey Rhoades and Carl Tinkey, Jr.; daughters, Starla (Jamie) Otwell, Crystal (Jon) Taylor and Samantha Tinkey; grandchildren, Kaden, Jacob, Lacey, Logan, Audrey, Dylan, Cheyanna, Noah, Kyliegh, Braylin, Bently and Jonathan Jr.; as well as many other family and friends.  

Per Carl’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, May 28, 2021 at Victory Chapel, 32 W.
