Bobby E. Geer

Bobby Geer, 86, of N. Canton, Ohio passed away on August 21, 2018.  Bobby was born in DeRossett, Tennessee on March 16, 1932 to the late Beecher and Maggie (Jordan) Geer-Holloway.  He was a graduate of Lynch High School in Kentucky.  Bobby was a veteran of the Korean War and honorably discharged from the U.S. Army in 1953.  He built his own business as a Master plumber serving the greater Akron area for over 50 years.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara.  He is survived by his loving partner, Judy Knapp; his beloved aunt, Aileen (Jordan) Betchel; children, Diane Isenhour (Larry Mayberry), Sheri (Nicholas) Mozea, Sally (Bryan) Blaine and Robert (Debra) Geer; grandchildren, Christina Shehan, Nicholas Mozea III, Katherine Blaine, Daniel Blaine, Miriam Blaine, Michael Geer, Colby Geer, Madison Geer, Lindsay Geer; great-grandchildren, Megan Shehan and Aubrey Shehan; plus his ever loyal dog, Jack.

A Celebration of Life will be held for Bobby’s family and friends on Saturday, August 25, 2018 from 1 to 3:30 P.M. at Bobby's cabin, 5460 Thursby Road, North Canton, Ohio 44720.  The cabin entrance will be marked.  Casual attire, please.  In lieu of flowers, the family would love your presence at the celebration to share a memory of Bobby.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
