Obituary

Nancy Cooper, 85, passed away at home after a brief illness on July 26, 2023. She was born November 8, 1937, in Mansfield to the late William and Agnes Jordan but raised in Canton. Nancy was a graduate of Lincoln High School and retired from AEP in 1998.

Besides her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her son, Dan Hodous, and beloved partner Donald Hoey. She is survived by her daughters, Debbie Genet and Jan (Ron) Shank; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hodous; grandchildren, Tara (Jay) Whitt, Tana (Mark) Morgan, Trina (Justin) Dye, Jordan (Nikki Campbell) Shank, Renee (Brian) Pittman, Amanda (Mike) Murphy, Andy (Paxton) Hodous; 17 great-grandchildren; stepchildren, Bill (Paula) Hodous, Debbie Gamble, and Vickie (Kevin) Smith and families; as well as many friends.
