William D. Sypolt

Bill Sypolt, 64, passed away February 27, 2018.  He was born December 6, 1953 in Corona, California to Eleanor and the late Ralph Sypolt.  Bill worked for 30+ years as a butcher for Giant Eagle on the Strip in North Canton and most recently at Market District in Green.  He enjoyed gardening, flying Cessna planes, and working on cars.  Bill was a dedicated father and grandfather and loved spending time with his family. 

Bill will be deeply missed by his sons, Jason (Rebecca), Nathan (Kaylee) and Jonathan (Sarah) Sypolt; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Dale and Kevin (Bonnie) Sypolt; sisters, Debbie (Chuck) Bergdorf and Darla (John) Penza; as well as many other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday, March 2, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Rev. Bert C. Ambrose, Jr. officiating.  Family and friends may call on Friday from 5 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made in Bill’s name to Boy Scouts of America, Great Trail Council, 1601 S.
