Wilda L. (McKenzie) Phillips
February 15, 1927 ~ January 13, 2018 (age 90) 90 Years OldWilda Phillips, 90, a lifelong resident of Green, passed away January 13, 2018. She was born February 15, 1927 in Cuyahoga Falls to the late Thomas and Ila McKenzie. Wilda was the owner of Phillips Machine & Stamping Corp. and served in The Salvation Army. She was “in charge” of toy distribution for Christmas for many years. Until the final two months of her life, she still actively worked at her business. She loved gardening, traveling, and being with her family.
Wilda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clarence “Bill” William Phillips; sister, Helen Gallion; brothers, Harley & Billy McKenzie. She leaves her loving children, Sandra Kamerer, Nancy (Larry) Stott, Craig Phillips; seven very special grandchildren, Kelly (David) Jones, Kristie Kamerer, Clint Stott, Shawn (Jillian) Phillips, Lisa (Mike) Messina, Beau (Gina), and Haliegh Phillips; six adored great-grandchildren, Shelby (Michael), Tyrus, & Logan Jones, Katelyn & Allison Messina, and Levi Phillips; much loved sister & brother, Lillian “Doll” Keim and James (Janet) McKenzie. She will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends.
A private family service has taken place. Interment at Hillside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Wilda to The Salvation Army of Summit County, 190 S.
