Victoria A. (Drumm) Stefanov

Victoria Stefanov, 77, passed away December 9, 2018.  She was born on December 5, 1941 in Akron to the late Donald and Stella Drumm.  

Vicki’s children and grandchildren were the pride and joy of her life. The legacy of Vicki’s kind spirit, passion for sports, love of music and singing, and zest for life will live on through them.

In addition to her parents, Vicki was preceded in death by her brother, Donald.  She is survived by her husband, Ted; sons, Scott (Kelly) and Larry (Karrie) Stefanov; grandchildren, Jessie (Gary) Trbovich, Taylor (Tyler) Steiner, Amanda (John) Rutan and Kurtis (Brooke) Stefanov; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as many other loving family and friends.

God saw that you were getting tired
and a cure was not to be.
So, he put his arms around you
and whispered ‘Come with Me.’
With tear-filled eyes we watched you suffer
and saw you fade away.
Although we loved you dearly,
we could not make you stay.
A golden heart stopped beating,
a determined spirit was at rest.
God broke our hearts to prove to us
“He only takes the Best.”

A funeral service will be held at 1 P.M. on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR 619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Dr. Steve Vesolich officiating.  Family and friends may call on Thursday from 11 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Burial will be at East Liberty Cemetery.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
