Robert J. Burcham

Heaven gained an Angel and our hearts were broken on March 20, 2017 when our beloved Bobby passed away after a 22 year struggle with Cystic Fibrosis.  He was born December 6, 1994 to Robert Burcham and Lisa Ward and grew up in Suffield.  Bobby was a kind, gentle and good hearted young man who always put his cares aside and helped others.  He loved his family with great passion and made friends wherever he went.  People were drawn to his witty sense of humor and his big heart.  Bobby loved to join in on family vacations at the beach, running in the Super Kids Soapbox Derby and the time he got to experience Walt Disney World in Florida with the Make A Wish Foundation.

Bobby was preceded in death by his grandpas, Robert Burcham and Clarence Ward; uncle, Ronald Ward; great grandpa Joseph Sitosky.  Besides his parents, he is survived by his grandparents, Jolene (Ron) Dannemiller; grandma, Patricia Ward; aunts, Krista Burcham and Tracie (Dale) Soptelean; uncle, Theron Dannemiller; cousins, Shelby Burcham, Luke and Logan Soptelean, and Aliyah and Aislyn Burcham; great grandmas, Barbara Sitosky and Nanny; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Chaplin Abraham officiating.  Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be take place at 11:30 A.M. at East Liberty Cemetery, 740 E.
