Robert Beard Obituary

Robert Beard, 90, formerly of Massillon, passed away December 1, 2019 in Iowa where he has resided with his daughter. He was born February 11, 1929 in Akron to the late William and Myrtle Beard. Robert proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corp for 8 years and retired from the Hoover Company.

Besides his parents, Robert was preceded in death by wife, Gladys. He is survived by his daughters, Linda (Steven) Wasnak and Kathy (Stephen) Acheson; grandchildren, Jason, Nathan, and Jon Sypolt, Andrew, Rachael and Stephanie Acheson; brothers, Jim and Norm Beard; as well as many nieces and nephews.
