Pat was a man of fine taste and discernment who valued traditional virtues in unconventional ways. We spent many fine hours at the Chessboard with the finest of classical music in support from his legendary Wharfedale 90 speakers. Digging for fossils or arguing the fine points of psychology or philosophy he always had an intensity about his vision of good life. He was often surprising in perspective but never boring. I knew Pat for 50+ years from a struggling college student to successful professional. He never changed. He never let his college sweetheart get away. He was proud of the man who he called son.
A good man gone. The world is less for that.

Nancy, I'm so saddened to hear of passing of Uncle Pat. As a child I had fond memories of both you. My God bless you and your family!
