Matthew B. Morris

The angels carried Matt to his Heavenly Home on September 25, 2017 at the age of 35.  Matt grew up and spent most of his life in Canal Fulton.  He had a million-dollar smile and made friends wherever he went.  He was a very caring, kind and sensitive person who was there to help anyone in need.  Matt loved to ride his motorcycle and do stunt riding, but his greatest love was for his family and his son, Tye.  Matt loved to take Tye for rides on the “Little 50”… Tye always said to Matt “Ride bike, Daddy, ride bike!”  Matt enjoyed his job at Goodyear where he has worked for the past 11 years.

Matt was preceded in death by his father, Randy Morris.  He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife and best friend, Shelley; son, Tye; his “Mama” Nancy Morris; along with many other loving family and friends.                      

I have always been proud of you my beautiful son, my joy, my life and my world.  I will miss you more than words could possibly say… Until we meet again my Matt; Peace be with you.

A Celebration of Matt’s life will be held at 7 P.M. on Friday, September 29, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Fr.
