Mark Steven McPherson

Mark McPherson, 52, of Canal Fulton passed away June 14, 2017.  He was born December 21, 1964 in Akron to the late Earl and Edna A. McPherson but grew up in Green where he attended school.  Mark honorably and faithfully served in the U.S. Army.  Upon discharge, he followed in his father’s footsteps and pursued a career in masonry.  On the weekends, you would find Mark out back drinking a cold one with the ones he cherished most.

Mark is survived by the love of his life, Jill; son, Steven (Tasha) McPherson; daughters, Amanda (Kevin) Peay and Alicia (Doug Woodworth) McPherson; step-children, Zachary Ramnytz, Alexis (Jason) Bornstine and Abby (T.J.) Gonzalez; grandchildren, Evan, Mason, Owen, Alyssa, Aubrey, Adilynne, James, Hunter, Maxx and Reese; brother, Earl McPherson; sisters, Diane (Bob) Burgoon, Terry (Tom) Biehl and Debbie (Dave) Oravec, step-siblings, Debbi Cook, Doreen Addy, Dennis, Daniel and David Spitznas and Deanna (Paul) Ake; as well as a many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Rev. Dr. John R.
