Kenneth "Gus" Ours

Gus Ours, 55, passed away July 29, 2018.  He was born March 2, 1963 in Akron to Arthur Dale and the late Martha Ours.  Gus was employed by JRayl Transport for the past 27 years. He recently celebrated 2.5 million miles accident-free. Gus dedicated his life to his family and sacrificed his time with them to be the best provider he could. The love he had with his wife and the pride they shared in their children is what truly made Gus happy. You may have come to his home as a stranger but the moment you walked through his door he became Uncle Gus.

Besides his dad, Gus is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Susan; children, Joshua (Gillian), Jason, and Jessica (James Gauer) Ours; brother, Allan (Cindy) Ours; as well as many other loving family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 AM. on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at the Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with son, Joshua Ours officiating.  Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.  To leave a special message online for the family, visit our website at www.schermesserfh.com.
