I am Johny's cousin . . . Emerson and Mary's daughter from Punxsutawney, PA. I am so sorry for your loss. The last time I remember seeing him was at I believe Uncle Son's funeral and I remember listening to Johny and Craig's story about them going out one night together . He could bring a smile to our faces no matter what. It's a shame we couldn't get together more often.
His family is in our thoughts and prayers.

I am Johny Ray's cousin Diana from Pennsylvania. Please accept my deepest
sympathy.
I recall when we were children running & playing in my parents yard with Craig,
Johny Ray and Bill. We had so much fun and always loved when the big silver
camper arrived from Ohio with Uncle John & Aunt Ruth and their boys.
I treasure these memories so much!!
To all of Johny Ray's family along with Bill & Craig, you are in our thoughts
& Prayers
Deepest Sympathy
Diana

To John's family and Dana .. life just isn't fair and understanding God's plan is so hard as we will never know why some of the greatest people are taken away from us. John was a light to all he encountered. Years back he use to bring me danishes on his lunch break from Whitmer's when I worked at the Firehouse in Tallmadge and from that point on our friendship blossomed into lifelong bond. He was truly one of the best, most kindest, sweetest and giving men I know. The loss of this man is so heartbreaking as the world needs more men like he. God must have needed him more and his mission was over. I think we all should strive to be like this man. If we did, then we would have no fear that heaven will be given to us. My heartfelt sympathies to you all. Praying that God will hold you all in his arms as you go on without your dad and companion. I love you John and will miss you <3 RIP.

John was an amazing man, father and friend. I don't think he ever met a stranger...he had the gift of making us all feel like his best friend. I will miss his smiles, hugs, and belly laugh. I send my deepest sympathy and hugs to Dana and his family. I can't even imagine how you miss this man. God bless you all for being by his side through this journey.
