Jim McCullough, 91, passed away July 4, 2018. He was born October 4, 1926 in Akron to the late William and Dovie McCullough. Jim proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Enterprise during World War II and retired from Goodyear Aerospace. He was a member of the Brown Street Church of Christ.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his first wife, Lucile; brother and sister-in-law, Douglas and Pauline McCullough; nephew, Scott McCullough; and niece, Lisa McCullough; as well as his fur-baby, Mitzi.
Jim is survived by his loving wife of 21 years, Wanda; sons, Michael (Wendy) McCullough and Mark McCullough; step-children, Brenda (Don) Watts, Debbie (Rob) Richards, and Steve (Cathy) Hardy; grandchildren, Katherine (Joseph) Gumeny, Jennifer Watts, Lyndsey (Antonio) Perez, Timothy Watts, Nathan Hardy, and Greg Richards; great-grandchildren, Lauren Gumeny, Alexandria Gumeny and Max Perez; nieces, Carrie (Nathan) Wolfstein and Julie (David) Stevens; great-nephews, Will Stevens and Sean Adair; great-niece, Rachel Stevens; daughter-in-law, Nancy (Dick) Willett; his Rose Lane buddy and fellow veteran, John.

Funeral service will be held at 10 A.M. on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Mr. Don Wright officiating. Family and friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Chestnut Hill Memorial Park.
