Dearest Cooley Family,
Earlier this year something came over me and told me to Google your dad's name out of the blue. It was maybe in January. I cried when I saw he had just passed and when I saw later that not just your father but your mother had passed as well, my heart sank even further. I was so fortunate to have met your parents through my father Angelo who used to sell Sealy mattresses to your father. They became really good friends. I was fortunate enough to spend a week with them, Mike, Matt and Suzie on vacation in North Carolina and instantly fell in love with your parents. It has been about 4 years since I spoke to your mom, but I can clearly hear her voice In my mind as well as your dad's. They were two very special people as you know. They always spoke so highly about all of their children and were so very proud of all of you. I am so deeply saddened of your loss. When I found out and told my father, he was crushed. He truly loved your parents and reminisced about the times he and your father spent working together to get mattresses sold in your dad's store. My dad can now reunite with them as he too just passed away on Saturday. I hope that you are all healing by the memories that you have been fortunate enough to have made with your parents. They were truly very special people and I for one will always have them in my heart and prayers and will pray that all of you, in time, can heal your broken hearts.
I have left my email address for any of you in case you would like to connect. I may have a few pictures of your parents from our vacation.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. May all of your memories remind you of the happy days together and may those memories bring you comfort in the years ahead.

All my love, Margaret Valletta

Hello, my name is Gabrielle Todd. I am the wife of Ernest West and sister-in-law of James West that worked for you guys at Twinsburg Furniture. We are very saddened to hear the passing of George and Mrs. Ann. We called them a few years ago to check on them since we moved back to Chicago. They were on my mind this morning, so I googled them and found out the devastating news. We want to send our condolences and prayers and say that they were such beautiful and kind people. I am truly in shock and very sad today. We are very sorry for your loss. May they forever rest in peace together.

Gabrielle,
Thank you so much for your kind words. My sister told me that you posted a message, so I wanted to reply as well. I worked with my parents and the boys at the store too. My parents loved you all like family...my sister is correct. We are truly heartbroken over this loss. We appreciate all the thoughts and prayers. Susie

Hello Cooley family, you don' know me but my thoughts, prayers to all of you.The Post obit was a true letter of love. You just know they were incredible parents, loved/raised incredible children, and certain doted over their grand kids.

Can say honestly say, know how you're all feeling. My 5 siblings and I were raised in Wadsworth by incredible parents as well. They passed away same day 4 years ago next month. An unbelievable shock, hard to accept. Ironic too..... they were loving parents, became our best friends, were married 47 years, and loved to dance. Time, smiles, laughter with experiences and love they showed thru many years has helped see us through. We remember how blessed we were to be born, raised by two special people and lucky to have them around so long. Loss never forgotten and still miss them much, but helps.

I never wanted to believe those close to family saying "what a beautiful love story" w/pain and loss felt. With time have come to realize that it may be true. That leaving together was their plan and sure as heck hope get to see them again one day. Uncertain, but for now will do our best to share and pass on all they taught, showed, nurtured in all of us to others. Their spirits live on....

Please forgive my long-winded post. It struck a cord and reminded me of how blessed both families are, will always be. Thoughts to all...

My family and I would like to express our deepest sympathy over the loss of your parents.
May you find comfort in your loving memories and the warmth of family and friends. A scripture that has uplifted many during times such as these, is found at Revelation 21:4. There it describes a time when death and pain will be gone forever. We will even see our loved ones again who we have lost in death (John 5:28 & 29). It is our hope that these words bring you a measure of comfort during this difficult time as well. Once again, please accept our condolences as you deal with your loss.

So many, now precious, memories, for my mind to go back through. The one I chose to hold close is the time I spent on their deck with your Dad and Mom along with Elsie and Jim. A quiet sunny day spent remembering the past and being thankful for the present. Their love of their family was always foremost.
Our family looks forward to greeting y'all with lots of hugs in June.

Our hearts break for each one of you. Your love and dedication you possessed in these past few months is unimaginable. We know how much your parents meant to you all. The memories they leave behind are plentiful . For myself, I will always remember how Mrs. Cooley would smile up at Mr. Cooley. And how he would be known to sneak his sweets and "don't tell your mom" would come if he got caught. How Mrs. Cooley loved her garden and would be found crawling around in her flower beds. Coming into the house with her gardening gloves on to make dinner for anyone who was over. Her smile was contagious and his big "teddy bear" self will be dearly missed all that knew them. I love you all and continue to pray for peace for you all. ❤️❤️

Your Mom & Dad were such wonderful people that we loved dearly. We will miss them so much and we share in your deep sorrow. They truly could not be apart from each other which was how they lived their many years together. They were both so very kind and loving, and always went above and beyond to do anything they could for others. They raised each of you so lovingly which is why you were so close with both of them and would do anything for them. We feel fortunate to be considered a part of your family. We love you all!

Of these two, one can truly say: Theirs were lives well lived.

We shall always remember and rejoice in our many grand times together; we miss them already and always will. My "big sister", Ann with her warm heart and kind ways and her always caring, gentle, incorrigibly funny husband, George...we shared so much together.

Rest in Peace; you have been together on this world so long, neither of you could 'stand' to leave it without the other! Perfect in life together and now perfect together forever.
