Frances Wilson Frisbee Obituary

Frances Frisbee, 81, passed away June 18, 2018, in the peace of her own home and surrounded by family, after a short but courageous battle with cancer.  She was born April 12, 1937 in Evarts, Kentucky to the late Pearl and Mattie Pace.  Frances was a 1955 graduate of Evarts High School and later completed two years at Baldwin Business College where she studied Business Administration.  Frances worked her whole life, and most enjoyed her careers at Stambaugh Hardware, Moy Labs, and Wal-Mart where she was adored by her co-workers.

Frances was a passionate believer in the Lord Jesus Christ.  She was as intelligent as she was loving and thought deeply about life and Christ.  She studied the bible meticulously, sometimes falling asleep with it in her lap.  She always enjoyed discussing scripture with her family and friends.  Frances was a talented musician who appreciated all genres of music and will be remembered for playing guitar, piano, organ, drums, and even the accordion!  She used her beautiful voice to sing in worship of our Lord while playing hymns on the piano in church and at home for her family.  Anyone who knew Frances knew she was sharp and had a very quick-witted sense of humor.  She was a playful person who was often found laughing and carrying on with her grandchildren’s shenanigans.

Frances was a light who radiated the joy and love of Christ everywhere she went.   She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her first husband, John Wilson, Jr.; son, John III; sister, Daisy McGeorge, and brother, Bill Pace.  She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 16 years, Cecil Frisbee; daughters, Linda (Jerry) Hughes and Sherry (George) Middleman; grandchildren, Jonathan Wilson, Daniel (Sara) and Jennifer Hughes, Rianna and Joey Middleman; siblings James (Pauline) Pace, Martha (Caloy) Onate and Elizabeth Pace-Kioroglou USAF Major (retired); her precious cat, Snuggles; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Friday, June 22, 2018 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd.
