David "Butch" A. Miller, Sr.

Butch Miller, 73, passed away unexpectedly on February 19, 2019 at Select Specialty Hospital in Akron.  He was born October 15, 1945 in Akron to the late Joseph and Mary Miller. Butch was a 1966 graduate of Coventry High School and was employed by the Akron School Board. He enjoyed shopping, refurbishing furniture, trying new recipes and playing ball with his faithful companions, Ice and Bruno. He had a quick-witted personality and was loved by all who knew him. He was a devoted father and proud grandpa, his family was his world.

Besides his parents, Butch was preceded in death by his brothers, Jim and Joseph “George” Miller.

He will be sadly missed by his daughter, Cherie (Terry) Westfall; sons, David, Jr. (Ginger) and James (Katina) Miller; grandchildren, Devin (Allison), Hailey, Javen and Sage; step-grandchildren, Michael (Mikayla) and Jennifer (Christopher); great granddaughter, Lillian; step-great grandchildren, Chloe, Noah and Jackson; brothers, Bob (Robin) and Bill (Sherry) Miller; sister, Susie (Gary) Gardinier; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
