Cheryl Diane (Kline) Just

Cheryl Just, 75, of New Franklin passed away January 6, 2019.  She was born February 11, 1943 in Barberton.  She was a 1961 graduate of Manchester High School then obtained her bachelor’s and Master’s in Education from Akron University.  Cheryl was a special person to all that knew her.  She gave her fullest to family, friends and her students.  She was a high school teacher for over 30 years, advancing the programming for Family Consumer Science, leading student organizations, and designing her department in the new Green High School (1996).  Cheryl loved to entertain and travel, but her biggest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. 

Cheryl was preceded in death by father, Charles Kline, and stepfather, Edward Aukscunas.  She is survived by son, David (Angie) Just; daughter, Vicki (Dave) Groo; grandchildren, Josh and Natalia; mother, Agnes Aukscunas; brother, Ron Kline, as well as other loving family and friends.

A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held at 3 P.M. on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd. (SR619), Akron, Ohio 44319 with Pastor Mark Yacovazzi officiating.  Family and friends may call on Saturday from 1 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Cheryl’s name to Green Schools Foundation, P.O.
