I just found out about Bev's passing. She moved to Orrville in 4th grade. We grew up as close friends, staying overnight, hanging out at each other's houses and sometimes at her dad's shoe store. Her family was terrific. We just did everything together. She was very popular and well-liked. We just had so much fun. Then, later, Bev was my bridesmaid. A dear friend. Wish I could have spent time with her in recent years. My sympathy to all of you.

The entire working family of Sewell Hardware send our prayers and thoughts to the Schwertfeger family. Remember that at times like these friends and family draw strength from one another in remembering the love, sacrifices, and care that a mother has given over a lifetime.

I am so sorry to read about the passing of Bev. I worked with Bev many years ago at Akron City Hospital. She was a true role model as an RN. She loved being a nurse and it showed everyday with her enthusiasm for patient care and excellent nursing practice. She was a leader of our nursing team and there was not any task she would not do for the best care of her patients. When I think of the best nurses I have had the privilege of working with, Bev’s name comes to the top! I was blessed to work with her.
Prayers and condolences to family and friends.
