I was so saddened to hear of Ben's passing. I could always expect a clever, funny, insightful comment from Ben. He was one of my favorite students. I will miss him. My condolences go out to the Lippincott family and friends.

I am so very sorry for your loss. As we mature into adulthood we grow in so many ways, yet I believe we are diminished by the loss of our childish sense of wonder, curiosity, and enthusiasm. Ben was always brimming over with exuberance. It is a big part of why I was so drawn to him as a student as well as why I have found myself thinking of him so much ever since he finished taking my classes. I am greatly saddened by his loss. For me, the world has lost some of its luster for his passing. I will remember him, as I have done since he graduated, for the ways in which his exuberance for life continues to renew my own spirit.

Dear Chris, Kevin, Emily and Sandy, My sincerest sympathies to you on the loss of your son, brother and grandson. My name is Christel Richard and I know you, Sandy and Chris, from when you owned Piece in Time. I became familiar with Ben when he'd join us for dinner at a quilt retreat and help in the quilt shop. I knew then he was a special, gifted young man with great potential. It was good to see many of these gifts and talents come to fruition though, obviously, not as far as they could have in his short life. You have my deepest condolences for a loss as profound as Ben's. I cannot imagine your grief. I only hope that all the wonderful memories you have of Ben will live on in your hearts so you will always have him close by to comfort you. In sympathy, Christel Richard

My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you. I only wish I could have met Ben, he made Allison so happy and full of life, Ben meant the world to Allison, and to many more I know. God took him away way too soon, no-one will ever know why, but just reading everything posted I know he is the type of Man that will forever be looking down and protecting everyone he loved and those who loved him.

Dear Chris, Kevin & Emily: My heart is aching for you, at this dark time. But if the memories of those of us that knew Ben at different times in his life can help you, then I pray my memory will bring a smile. Ben was the 'gentle giant' in my preschool class. Even at 3/4 years old he had a seriousness that was softened by a wicked sense of humor. That grin could disarm me every time! It made very hard to reprimand him. I remember him as a very smart, happy little boy. My thoughts and prayers are with your family at this time.

We send all of our thoughts and prayers. We have so many joyful memories of Ben from elementary school on... He brought us so many moments of laughter at school, scouts, band, drama club, mock trial, academic challenge and more. Chris, Kevin and Emily- you blessed Ben with a beautiful and meaningful life full of Faith, Hope and Love. Although his time with family and friends was way too short, it touched us all deeply. We pray for all of you. With love, The Wilson Family
