Gloria Booth, 82, passed away on April 17, 2024. She was born on July 30, 1941, in Fairmont, West Virginia to the late Clem and Mary Hashman.
Gloria loved preparing Family Dinners, especially Christmas cookies and desserts. She enjoyed reading, playing cards, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Gloria was a great supporter of the Cleveland Indians both by watching on the television and by going to the games. But most of all her favorite moments were spending time with the grandkids.
Along with her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Charles “Chuck” Booth, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her son, Brian (Shelly) Booth; daughters, Brenda Booth, Debbie (Bob) Weaver, and Danette (Roman) Paich; grandchildren, Tyler (Molly), Logan, Luke, and Nate Booth, Chad and Tara Weaver, Collin (Emily) Paich and Miranda (Eric) Moore; 3 great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 7 P.M. on Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Road, Akron, Ohio 44319. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4 P.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. A private family entombment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park.
