Russell M. Hirschfelt
Russell M. Hirschfelt, 49, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2012. He was born April 19, 1962 in Akron, Oh. He was a member of Carpenter’s Union Local 285 and a 1981 graduate of Manchester High School.
Russell was preceded in death by his mother Barbara Ann. He is survived by his son Joe Hirschfelt; father Richard Hirschfelt; step-father Richard Robinson; sister Richele Snyder: brother Ron (Kelly) Hirschfelt; nieces Kristina and Valerie Snyder and Cheyenne and Kacy “Coco Puff” Hirschfelt and his extended families the Kendall and Green families.
Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Schermesser Funeral Home, 600 E. Turkeyfoot Lake Rd, Akron, OH 44319 (SR 619) with Pastor Mike Prebynski officiating. Family and friends may call on Friday from 6 to 8 P.M. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Did not know Russ well, but what i did know he was a decent guy and real down to earth. Shame when a young guy goes so sudden like that.
